Reading St Andrew's Scottish Dancing Society together with Reading Scottish Fiddlers present a Scottish Family Ceilidh

This is a family Ceilidh for charity. There will be dancing for everyone to live music with a caller, solo instrumentalists and a singer. This is for everyone - bring the family!

Restrictions:Children should be accompanied by an adult, no alcohol

Shady Lane Music Club @ Bar Iguana

A chilled out night of music, comedy and performances in an intimate setting. Featuring music from Naama Hillman, described by Time Out London as having "striking melodies and strong lyrical content", a performance of "Jim Bowes: Quiz Shows, Rap Offs and Blind Confidence" direct from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as several other musical performances.

Lemon Cake Theatre presents Steven Berkoff's Lunch and The Bow Of Ulysses

Lemon Cake Theatre presents a Steven Berkoff double bill of Lunch and The Bow of Ulysses. The double bill is a touching and reflective journey of vanity, hope, hopelessness, sexual exploitation and longevity spanning half a lifetime. This is the debut performance from Lemon Cake Theatre, who are committed to creating new and accessible theatre for all audiences. This treatment of Berkoff's work is emotionally charged, energetic and arresting, combining a strong visual impact with unique physicality and intelligent text.
